Brady Quinn is simply telling it like it is.
ReplyDeleteTebow came to Denver with a hype machine like no other in the history of the NFL, at leaast since maybe Jim Thorpe.
Hype is a two way street. The same hype that can put you on a pedestal can turnaround and bite you by throwing you on the scrap heap just as fast.
My hope is that my gut feeling about Tebow's future is NOT going to transpire. There's going to be a lot of 'over expectation' around Tebow next season. I've already heard the majority of these same fans Brady Quinn mention, saying over and over... "I really like Tebow BUT, if he can NOT be a passing qb DUMP HIM".
The mechanics is the easy part for Tebow. What worries me is that the learning curve with regards to the NFL 'system' may be his ultimate undoing, and, the schedule next year doesn't appear to have as many 'loopholes' for Tebow's future.
