NFL Network Apologizes for Josh McDaniels

Josh McDaniels was caught cursing on television as he berated his offense for a second consecutive failure to score inside the red-zone against the Giants. The good news is that he was yelling at his own team, instead of trying to call out the other team.

In other news, what is the deal with all of the Broncos penalties tonight? That is not a sign of a well-coached team...

  1. Josh Daniels should be fined by the NFL the maximum amount for his foul mouth captured live on the sidelines...with thousands of youth watching...he owes America a written and public apology.

  2. No, that is ridiculous. I like to make fun of Josh McDaniels, but it's not his job to control or know when the camera is on him. That was just one of those things...

  4. Anonymous, you are the reason this country is in trouble. McDaniels is not at fault. NFL network, and for that matter, any network covering professional sports, or any live event, should be broadcasting on a delay to deal with such situations. Should the NBA be fined when a fan behind the announcers uses profanities? Should any athlete be fined when they use a profanity and a lip reader can point it out? Let the men on the field be men. When they are at the press conference then language and professionalism is required, but on the field, it is football.

  5. 1) He was cussing at his offence for getting 3 penaties, NOT for not scoring a TD.

    2) It's not his fault the NFL network aired him cussing, it's theirs!
He shoud NOT be fined for that!!
And, he has nothing to appologize for.

  6. Merlyn the Wingnut,-- YOU are as much of an idiot as McDaniels. People like you-- and I mean people lacking an adequate IQ, devoid of any values, etc. is the real reason this country is in a slow but steady decline.

Maybe you can't help it. Maybe you think like an idiot because your trailer park mama smoked crack. Don't know and don't care... and BTW, since I'm sure that you did vote for him-- your President is a LOSER too! Take that you evil, foul smelling lib.

P.S. I am NOT the Anonymous who started the comments. Just another person who can't stand pathetic losers like you. Keep your stinky mouth shut!

  7. Does anyone else find the irony in Anonymous #2 calling others idiots for their foul language while calling them Crack babies. Furthermore, it strikes me as just another poor attempt by one person to instigate others by reacting militantly to a well reasoned argument. In fact, I find Merlyn's comment quite intelligent unlike your drivel. Finally I think it is hysterical how this somehow turned into a political debate where you attacked the liberals. In fact, tying your seemingly drunken rambles together, what did you think of the video of President Bush flipping off a reporter on live camera?

  8. I admire the NFL Network for apologizing for airing McDaniel's foul mouth. Evidently they can still discern good from evil. But far be it from McDaniels to apologize. The only thing he appears to be able to control is his pride.... A lot of us are ashamed of him. We want a man for a coach, and his players probably do too, not to mention his wife.... Does he abuse her too, or just all the rest of us?

  9. I doubt there are many coaches in the NFL that don't use foul language when yelling at their players and I don't think it's that big of a deal. I'm surprised it has stirred up such controversy. And, I don't think we should imply that they way mcdaniels coaches has anything to do with his family life. That really is off limits, in my book.

  10. Too bad he's not man enough to control himself in public. Wonder if he also loses control in private. What a pity he shamed his family and the whole city of Denver.

  11. LPM said.... "I doubt there are many coaches in the NFL that don't use foul language...." So that assumption justifies his foul mouth? What brilliant logic! hahahahaha (I hope LPM doesn't try to justify himself doing evil because 'others do it too'.

  12. Shamed his family and the whole city of Denver???? Jane, getting one's team fired up is very much part of the NFL. He is coaching grown men, not 10 year old's. I think they can all handle foul language.

Luckily the city of Denver has Jane to make us all proud with her perfection and glory.

    Pretty silly comment.
